PLASTERFIX: Reliable Mortar Solution for Thermal Insulation Boards
PLASTERFIX is a high-performance, cement-based mortar specially developed for bonding thermal insulation boards such as EPS, XPS, and rockwool. Designed for durability and ease of application, it offers strong adhesion and a non-slip structure on vertical surfaces, ensuring safe and efficient installation with extended working time.
Suitable for properly prepared, solid, and clean substrates, PLASTERFIX delivers optimal performance when applied under recommended conditions. Its formulation, consisting of inert minerals, synthetic additives, and special cement, provides a homogeneous mixture with excellent workability and long-lasting results. The product is applied by creating a frame and central bonding points on insulation boards or by using a notched trowel on smooth surfaces, ensuring maximum surface contact.
With a working time of up to 2 hours and consumption ranging between 4–5 kg/m² for EPS boards and 6–7 kg/m² for rockwool, PLASTERFIX offers both efficiency and reliability on site. It should be applied at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C and protected from extreme weather conditions. When stored in dry conditions on pallets, the product maintains its quality for up to 3 months, making it a practical choice for insulation system applications.
